What is the best fishing rod and reel for catfish?

I am confused about what to buy … I don 't want to make the mistake of buying an auction of fly fishing / coil. Moreover, what is the best spinning reel … etc.?

S_M_C has hit the nail right on the head there and be honest i don 't think that the way to get exactly what improve on what I would have recommended, if it were me go with Abu Garcia, I' the VE caught with them throughout my life and has only once left him down, can be used for saltwater and freshwater.
