Nope, the last reel and spinning of Shimano I bought was the "Sidestab" because of the back records the resistance. I can 't comment on the Stradic, but loves my baitcasters of Daiwa. : D

I have the oldest set of thinking and Stradic reels are excellent. In fact the only reels I have today are Daiwa, Shimano, or Plfueger. (Even if I have a flyreel of Lamson & Using its 5 Penns first that I have moved towards & manganese; sold them. No reason to own a 650SS in manganese! Lol) However, after reading some of the reviews (www.cabelas.com) to I 'm not so sure if the number of FI sustain over time. Are taking a chance won 't be durable as their predecessors. Go read the review cabelas.com! A $ 159 there are some other choices that might not have as many "bugs" as the FI. Example-If you go spend $ 159 on a Stradic (devils!), Spend $ 200 and get a incurring! Pro bass them on sale! And if you go spend $ 200 on a incurring gets a Quantum Cabo for $ 189! (logic!) RAVI Everything about these reels on apartment! I'm not a buyer of Quantum, but I have a friend who swears by them. Now I 'm who lives in manganese, but when moving back home, (St. Augustine / Jacksonville FLA), I 'm going to buy a pair Cabo for exactly what you intend to use for coastal & salt; lower Pesca. Currently, I have my eye on PFLUEGER BrandNew Supreme XT ($ 129). I think it 's going to get bought next week, from ME! (lol) Anyway, that's just my 2 cents. When it comes to & roll; Rohi everyone has an opinion! Good luck!
